A Tour through my garden [Flowers and succulents] [Trees] [Shrubs]
| |
The lovingly tended, organic based garden is repeatedly praised by my guests. It is certainly not easy to keep all the plants alive in a warm climate with very little rain. But the more difficult the greater challenge and attention. |
Flowers and succulents
Hollyhocks, geraniums, daisies, calla, clivia, larkspur, sempervivum, etc. depending on the season and many potted flowers. Different aloes, agaves, succulents and cacti including the prickly pear with its delicious fruit.
There are also climbing plants such as the blue tumbergia, the emperor winds, ivy etc. In the summer you’ll find wild tomatoes everywhere and in the winter time the finca is covered with wild flowers and herbs such as red, purple and yellow poppies, nasturtiums, various yellow- and purple flowering clover varieties, sage, lavender, wormwood, chamomile, castor and the beautiful flowers of succulents and cacti. |
